Qatar Industrial Manufacturing Company (QIMC) has selected Colliers International as a consultant to provide real estate advisory services for the first phase of its new headquarters, QIMC Tower.

The headquarters is planned to be built on Doha Corniche.

Colliers was recommended by project management consultant Hill International, which received a contract from QIMC in October last year to provide project management services for its new headquarters building.

"QIMC Tower will become an iconic feature of the Doha skyline with its unique design while providing…premium residential, commercial and hospitality services."

As per the latest deal, Colliers will conduct market research, design critique, a feasibility study and provide recommendations to QIMC on the QR498m ($136.7m) mixed-use tower.

Planned to have around 595,000ft² of floor area, the QIMC Tower will feature three interlinked towers ranging from 23-storeys to 39-storeys. The buildings will have space for offices, retail and residential apartments.

Colliers International Qatar country director Peter Bibby said: "QIMC Tower will become an iconic feature of the Doha skyline with its unique design while providing residents and visitors with premium residential, commercial and hospitality services."
