The 500m² centre is located at 700 Bourke Street, Docklands, and complements NAB’s other buildings in the area.

The Village features drop-in desk spaces, casual and formal meeting areas, and meeting pavilions that can be made private or opened up.

Woods Bagot principal Simon Pole said that transformable spaces, a mix of furniture, graphics and artwork were all part of the design strategy to draw people in and facilitate co-working.

"We wanted to have fun with the design of these pop-up spaces, encouraging group collaboration and creativity for NAB’s customers and community," Pole said.

The centre provides a destination for users and NAB customers to meet, collaborate and share ideas.

As part of the project, a digital experience room was engineered as a customer interaction centre.

Woods Bagot said the pods and open spaces can be booked and branded by community partners to give the public a direct and visual connection to NAB’s start-up incubator businesses and community groups.

Woods Bagot provides architecture, consulting, interior design, master planning and urban design services across a range of sectors.
