Construction firm Costain Group has completed the Parkway shopping centre for Standard Life Investments in the Berkshire town of Newbury, UK.
The 300,000ft2 centre includes a new Debenhams department store, as well as other retail stores.

The shopping centre will feature a 550-space shopper car park, 147 new apartments and 37 affordable homes.
The centre’s basement was built by removing 70,000m3 of material as well as securing a huge area from the high water table.
The apartments are expected to be handed over in phases in the summer of 2012.
