Mohr Capital breaks ground on speculative industrial lot in Indiana, US

Mohr Capital has broken ground on a new speculative lot (Spec Lot 9) within Mohr Logistics Park in the Indianapolis metropolitan area, Indiana, the US.

A master-planned industrial park, Mohr Logistics Park is situated in Whiteland, Indiana.

Spec Lot 9 comprises 827,000 ft2 of 32-foot clear bulk industrial space and its ground-breaking precedes the commencement of construction on the 1,057 million ft2 Spec Lot 6 in the next two months.

Once completed, the new lots will be delivering nearly 2 million ft2 for lease in the market.

Mohr Capital chief development officer Gary Horn said: “Mohr Capital is thankful for its partnership with the Town of Whiteland – our collaboration has been an essential component of bringing Mohr Logistics Park to fruition.

“The Park represents a significant development for the town and the market, delivering Class A industrial space to service the demand for quality industrial developments in the region.”

Spec Lot 9 is scheduled for completion in October 2021, while Spec Lot 6 will be completed in January 2022.

Before the construction of these new lots, a 1 million ft2 lot was constructed within Mohr Logistics Park and the facility has now been leased to Cooper Tire & Rubber Company.

Overall, the Park contains more than 7 million ft2 of Class A bulk industrial space, all of which is exclusively developed by Mohr Capital.

The Park is being leased by CBRE’s Mark Writt, while Curran Architecture’s Mike Long and American Structurepoint’s Ross Nixon are in charge of architectural and civil designs.
