Mill Creek Residential, a US-based multifamily developer and operator, has broken ground on a luxury apartment community, dubbed Modera Frisco Square, in Texas, US.

The community, located in 5995 Gordon Street which is between the Dallas Tollway and Preston Road, will feature 360 apartment homes, including 31 townhomes with private garages.

It will also include a large resort-style pool deck, and a series of courtyards lined with stoops and patios.

Upon completion, the luxury apartment community will become a key component of Frisco Square, a 147-acre master plan in Frisco that includes a mix of dining, retail, office, entertainment and living destinations.

Mill Creek Residential vice president of development for North Texas Kevin Hickman said: “Frisco Square harkens to the traditional Main Streets and walkable downtowns of cities and towns across the US.

“We’re excited to get started on this development, which will possess character that will complement Frisco’s charismatic mix of architectural styles.”

The luxury apartment community will provide one-, two- and three-bedroom homes with den and loft layouts available. There will also be an expansive pool deck, courtyards, and resort-like ambiance.

It will also feature a resident clubhouse, elaborate barbecue and picnic areas, golf simulator, coffee bar, and club-quality fitness studio with yoga and Pilates studio.

Modera Frisco Square will be a pet friendly and will have a spa for the pets. Along with a conference room and cyber café, the community will have a controlled-access garage parking, including bike and package storage to which only the residents will have access.

The residents will be at less than a mile from Historic Downtown Frisco and will be at a walkable distance from the attractions within Frisco Square.

They will have prime connectivity to the jobs and lifestyle attractions surrounding the Star, PGA headquarters, Hall Park, Legacy West, and the communities of Plano, Richardson and The Colony.

The apartment community is expected to be ready by spring 2022.
