McShane Construction Company has commenced construction of IBM Drive Apartments in North Carolina on behalf of RangeWater Real Estate.
Located on a 28-acre site in Charlotte, the scheme includes 300 units across three multi-storey wood-framed garden-style apartment buildings as well as a central clubhouse.

Designed by Poole & Poole Architecture, the IBM Drive Apartments will also include about 10,000ft2 of amenity space including an outdoor pool and a dog park.
It is situated near the intersection of West W.T. Harris Boulevard and IBM Drive, and is surrounded with many dining and retail amenities.
The scheme is located in close proximity to I-85 and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

McShane senior vice president and regional manager Scott Hoppa said: “We are excited to work on another project for our highly valued partners at RangeWater.
“We have built nearly 1,000 units in Georgia for RangeWater over the past three years and look forward to delivering our first project for them in North Carolina.”
In April, the company completed construction of The Archer in Acworth, Georgia for RangeWater Real Estate.
Located northwest of Atlanta, the new development includes 315-units in a 12-storey garden-style multi-family community.
It also includes a central clubhouse featuring a fitness centre, a social room with a game table and an indoor/outdoor double-sided fireplace.
Other amenities at The Archer include a pool deck with private cabanas, a trellised fire pit area, an upscale swimming pool, an outdoor bar with a kitchen and grilling area.
