McShane Construction Company has been chosen by Lincoln Property Company and Calamos Real Estate to build a new multi-family, mixed-use development in CityGate Centre of Naperville in Illinois, the US.
The project, which is called Lincoln at CityGate, will be made up of 285 luxury multi-family units, a precast parking garage and a shell for a future event centre.

McShane vice-president David Rintz said: “CityGate is an innovative and art-minded centre complete with a hotel, bars and restaurants, a spa, a fitness centre and office space. The addition of apartments and an event space will transform the area into a true community where people can live, work and have fun.”
Amenities available to residents will include a resident lounge, fitness and yoga rooms, library/workspace, a bike lounge, storage and a dog spa. The outdoors will have a pool area with a pergola, grills and fire pits.
Most of the apartments will have a private balcony or patio, and all of them will be equipped with stainless steel appliances for the usage of the residents.

The development will comprise four wood-frame construction stories that envelope a precast parking garage with 430 parking spaces and a 37,893ft2 shell at the rooftop for the event centre.

McShane teamed up with the design team and the clients during the pre-construction phase, to ensure that the project comes within the estimated budget. This was done to dodge or reduce unforeseen costs for the client and steer clear of unnecessary delays in schedule.
Lincoln at CityGate is expected to be completed by February 2023. The architect of record is CallisonRTKL.
