Luton Town Football Club (FC) in the UK are poised to commence construction on a new 25,000-capacity stadium at Power Court in mid-2025.
The club’s development arm, 2020 Developments, has forged a preconstruction services partnership with Limak International, a company engaged in infrastructure projects, including the current redevelopment of FC Barcelona’s Spotify Camp Nou stadium.
The new stadium is expected to host its inaugural competitive match at the onset of the 2028-29 season, offering fans a modern venue.
This project supports the Luton Town FC board’s strategic vision for the club’s future, reinforcing the club’s ambition to achieve and sustain Premier League status.
The project extends beyond the realm of sports, including plans for the construction of new homes, a hotel, and additional infrastructure, marking a ten-year endeavour to spearhead the rejuvenation of central Luton.
The Power Court project is anticipated to generate more than 1,000 permanent positions, alongside the multitude of direct employment opportunities during the construction phase.
