Hines, in partnership with Singapore-based Pontiac Land Group and Goldman Sachs Investment Group, has completed the construction on 53 West 53 condominium tower in the US.

The 82-storey residential skyscraper rises above The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), which located in Midtown Manhattan, New York City, on 53rd Street between Fifth and Sixth Avenues.

The condominium tower features 52,290ft² of the new exhibition distributed over three floors space above the MoMA.

Hines said that the three new gallery levels are open within the base of the building. Each of the levels has access from and connected with the museum's existing exhibition spaces.

The 505,568ft² tower was designed by French architect Jean Nouvel, while Thierry Despont provided interior architecture services.

Additionally, the 53 West 53 tower comprises 145 residences including full-floor homes and duplex penthouses with private elevators.

Hines managing director David Penick said: "Residents and future buyers now have a one-of-a-kind opportunity to live in an architectural masterpiece that has truly raised the bar for luxury living in Manhattan.”

The tower features metal and glass façade as well as a package of amenities such as New York City and Central Park views, common areas, a fitness facility, and concierge service.

Each of the residences at 53 West 53 features triple-glazed, floor-to-ceiling windows designed to reduce exterior noise and temperature variations.

Additional amenities of the tower include Wellness Center comprised of a 65ft lap pool, cold-plunge pool and hot tub with elaborate poolside vertical gardens, as well as a regulation squash court.

Featuring double-height lounge, the tower’s floors 46 and 47 offers views and a private formal dining room overlooking Central Park.

The tower also features a library, a double-height Oenology suite, temperature-controlled wine storage vaults, a private screening room, children's playroom, and private storage.

Recently, Westdale Real Estate Investment and Management, Ivanhoé Cambridge and Hines have commenced construction on The Stack, a mixed-use building to be located on Commerce Street, Dallas, Texas.
