Galliford Try’s Building East Midlands business has secured a new contract to finish the public realms works at Broadmarsh car park project in Nottingham, the UK.

Currently, the team is heading towards completion of the main £43m project.

This project would see creation of a new multi-storey car park, retail units and bus station on the south side of Nottingham city, as well as a new central public library.

The further £3m contract will see the creation of new pedestrianised spaces outside the new car park, including a modern lighting scheme and landscaping areas.

Galliford Try Building East Midlands managing director Jon Marston said: “We are delighted to continue our relationship with Nottingham City Council and finish the job at the Broadmarsh project. The main building is already in fantastic shape and we look forward to completing that and improving the surrounding public realm for the people of the city.”

In January 2021, Galliford Try announced that its Building business secured a £23m contract to build a student accommodation facility in Coventry.
