Under this agreement, BAM will oversee the renovation and upgrading of the electricity grid in Limburg, area by area, with a completion target set for the end of 2025.

In conjunction with electrification efforts, WML is partnering with BAM to ensure the local water-supply network is futureproof, focusing on efficiency and minimising disruption for residents.

BAM Energy & Water CEO Rolf te Velde said: “The energy transition and making our infrastructure more sustainable require vision, decisiveness and cooperation.

“With this agreement, we are joining forces with Enexis and WML to prepare Limburg for the future. BAM is proud to contribute as a partner to a robust and sustainable network that supports the region’s growth ambitions.”
