UAE-based Al Qandeel Contracting has secured a contract for the main works at the DAMAC Hills 2 master development in Dubai.

Awarded by DAMAC Properties, the contract is worth Dh180m ($49.01m).

The 55-million-square-foot DAMAC Hills 2 community was launched in 2014 and now accommodates more than 30,000 residents.  

The development follows the launch of DAMAC’s first master community, DAMAC Hills, and precedes the launch of the company’s third master development in Dubai, DAMAC Lagoons, in late 2021. 

The main works package involves the construction of 384 villas within the Verona cluster of the master community.
