AdventHealth has broken ground on its 100-bed Palm Coast Parkway hospital in Flagler County, Florida, the US.
The project, claimed to be the county’s single-largest health care investment, features the second AdventHealth hospital in Palm Coast.

Located on the north end of the county near Bridgehaven Drive, the hospital will be around 158,000ft2.
AdventHealth Palm Coast Parkway is expected to open in spring 2023.
The hospital will feature an emergency department with complete-service imaging; endoscopy services; outpatient laboratory; heart catheterization labs; five operating suites; 20 critical care patient rooms and 80 general medical or surgical care rooms.
The only other hospital in the county, the 99-bed AdventHealth Palm Coast, was constructed in 2002.

AdventHealth Palm Coast and AdventHealth Palm Coast Parkway CEO Dr. Ron Jimenez said: “COVID-19 shed light on the need for every individual to have convenient access to world-class health care.
“We are pleased to strengthen the health of our community by expanding our state-of-the-art emergency, inpatient and outpatient care in Flagler County.”
The plans also call for a medical office building to be built as part of this $145m.
Following completion, AdventHealth Palm Coast Parkway is expected to bring up to 700 new jobs to the area.
The architect of the hospital is HuntonBrady Architects, while Robins & Morton has been appointed as the contractor.
