The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 0.79% in December 2021 when compared with November 2021.

By GlobalData1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 62.78% in December 2021, registering a 13.92% decline over the previous month.
2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 14.66% share, a decrease of 7.14% over the previous month.
3) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 10.53%, registering a 24.32% decline from November 2021.
4) Computer and Information Analysts captured a share of 5.26%, down 6.67% over the previous month.
Top five construction companies in Germany’s IT recruitment activity in December 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 14.44% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Germany’s construction industry during December 2021 over November 2021.
Eberspacher Climate Control Systems GmbHKG posted 91 IT jobs in December 2021 and registered a drop of 37.67% over the previous month, followed by Liebherr-International with 28 jobs and a 133.33% growth. Bilfinger with 16 IT jobs and HeidelbergCement with 10 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a 66.67% flat growth, respectively, while Melrose Industries recorded a flat growth with 9 job postings during December 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in December 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 61.65%, down by 5.2% from November 2021. Entry Level positions with a 23.68% share, registered a decline of 30.77% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 14.66% share, up 14.71% over November 2021.
