The industry’s overall hiring increased by 14.15% in October 2022 when compared with September 2022.

Out of the construction industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 3.03% share in October 2022, recording an increase of 0.24% over the last three-month average share.

Top five construction companies in France’s IT recruitment activity in October 2022

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 27.13% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of France’s construction industry during October 2022 over September 2022.

Bouygues posted 191 IT jobs in October 2022 and registered a rise of 44.7% over the previous month, followed by Nexans with 85 jobs and a 21.43% growth. Vinci with 21 IT jobs and General Electric with 9 jobs, recorded a 48.78% decline and a flat growth, respectively, while Somfy recorded an increase of 100% with 8 job postings during October 2022.

Junior Level job postings dominate in October 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 72.59%, up by 32.45% from September 2022. Mid Level positions with a 16.62% share, registered an increase of 54.05% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 10.5% share, down 41.94% over September 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 0.29%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
