The Vietcombank-Bonday-Benthanh Joint Venture Company opened the new Vietcombank Tower designed by Pelli Clarke Pelli, in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC), Vietnam.
In August 2009, Vietcombank selected Pelli Clarke Pelli to design the Ho Chi Minh City headquarters building.

The new 35-storey Vietcombank tower is located on Me Linh Square, on the west bank of the Saigon River and contains multi-tenant offices, ancillary facilities, retail, restaurants, as well as parking.
The building features a richly textured exterior wall that incorporates golden granite within vertical metal ribs, accentuating its height.
In addition, the tower highlights integrated lighting, illuminating the entire building even at night.
The building site has a public park surrounded with a fountain and rock sculpture, and the base of the tower has a loggia of six granite piers as well as a canopy that mark the main entrance.

Vietcombank Tower will also be visible on all sides from across the city.
At street level, the new tower will welcome the public with a retail component, including Vietcombank’s branch.
Preliminary construction cost of the building was estimated to be $67m.
