Templegate Developments has submitted planning application to Leeds City Council in the UK, for developing a new housing community across a 170-acre greenfield site inside the Aire Valley.
Templegate is a joint venture (JV) between Evans Property Group and Keyland Developments and intends to develop 1,100 new homes, a new school and other community facilities at the Skelton Gate site.

The site has already been identified for housing developments and is a part of the Aire Valley area action plan, which is expected to include a minimum of 6,500 new home constructions in the area within 2028.
Aire Valley area is undergoing regeneration works at present, which include investments for the Enterprise Zone development to the west of the site.
Infrastructure developments for the £96m Temple Green development has been initiated, which is a part of the Enterprise Zone and will include construction of park and ride transport interchange for Leeds City Council.
Evans Property Group development director James Pitt said: "Major investment into the Enterprise Zone is already transforming the lower Aire Valley area of Leeds, bringing new business space, transport links and jobs for the whole city to benefit from.
