Red Sea Housing Services (RSH) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with AECOM Middle East to deliver modular affordable housing solutions in Saudi Arabia.
Under the terms of the deal, RSH will manufacture and deliver modular building units from its facility while AECOM will be responsible for designing, engineering, planning, and project managing of the housing projects.
Red Sea Housing Services CEO William Ali Mills said: “The collaboration between RSHS and AECOM will provide an ideal platform to deliver quality homes in The Kingdom in a fast and efficient manner using our state-of-the-art technology at affordable prices.”
This deal will combine Red Sea Housing’s modular construction expertise and AECOM’s knowledge in sustainable and energy-efficient construction solutions.
The firms have signed a 12-month MOU with the idea of exploring housing opportunities presented by the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Housing .
AECOM Middle East chief executive Hamed Zaghw said: “By combining our knowledge of the local market, solutions for affordable housing, and our design and programme management expertise, we will explore opportunities that support the priorities of the Ministry of Housing.”
