The building, which will be located on St Thomas Street, will harness natural ventilation via an underfloor air supply and maximise natural light through floor to ceiling windows.

This scheme targets for a regulated energy consumption of less than 23 kWh/m2, in line with the RIBA 2030 Climate Challenge operational intensity targets for new-build offices.

Mace CEO for construct Gareth Lewis said: “We are proud to have been appointed as main contractor for this pioneering project. With strong sustainability credentials, the ambition of this development goes hand in hand with our own vision and purpose.

“This is a fantastic opportunity to move the dial when it comes to delivering a truly sustainable building, and we are excited to be part of this journey. Mace has a strong track record of delivery in the London Bridge Quarter and we look forward to continuing to play our part in the transformation of this vibrant area.”

Construction of the project will commence in January next year, with its completion anticipated in Q1 2026.
