NCC is set to build the Teknostallen office building of over 46,000m2 in central Trondheim, Norway, on behalf of KLP Eiendom.

Construction work will commence at the beginning of 2022 and is expected to be completed in the third quarter 2025.

This construction contract carries a value of almost $100m (~SEK900m).

The project commenced at the beginning of this year with an initial partnering phase.

The firms, in collaboration with the architect, have developed a concept and solutions to create a modern office building.

NCC Building Nordics head Catarina Molén-Runnäs said: “This is our third construction assignment for KLP in Trondheim. In addition to solutions for the office building itself, we have attached major importance to designing an optimal construction process, with a view to the lifecycle of the entire project. This will be one of Norway’s most exciting and modern office buildings, and we are pleased to be part of the project.”
