Boots UK, a pharmacy-led health and beauty retailer, has selected housing company ilke Homes to deliver a 622-home low-rise modular housing scheme in Nottingham.
The new community, which is located in close proximity to Boots’ UK headquarter, forms part of the wider 286-acre Nottingham Enterprise Zone.

ilke Homes, as a full ‘turnkey’ developer, will be responsible for managing the entire development process.
This ranges from securing the land deal and obtaining planning permission, through to site development and delivering the homes.
Blackstar Advisory brokered the deal to unlock the 43-acre housing site, which has been allocated for residential development since 2014.
To deliver the scheme, ilke Homes plans to work with its architect HTA Design to curate a ‘model village’ development.

ilke Homes said that the proposed scheme, which is subject to planning consent, will become the firm’s flagship site. The scheme will deliver 505 houses together with 117 apartments.
The firm plans to manufacture all the houses along production lines at its factory in Knaresborough, North Yorkshire.

Blackstar Advisory CEO Tim Garratt said: “This is probably one of the most important and strategically significant residential land deals in a generation for Nottingham.”
