US-based construction company Albion Residential has begun construction of $140m Albion in the Gulch project in Nashville, Tennessee, the US.
Albion in the Gulch tower will feature 415 premium rentable units at 645 Division Street.

Albion Residential vice president development Andrew Yule said: “With the start of Albion in the Gulch we are pressing forward towards establishing a new echelon of luxury community in Nashville.
“Every design detail, finish, and amenity has been meticulously planned to stand out and showcase what we believe is possible and will be sought after in this evolving market. The way we are able to differentiate our communities coupled with Nashville’s position to continue to grow and succeed gives us supreme confidence that this project will be incredibly well received when it opens later in 2022.”
The project has secured a construction loan of $87.15m from Hartford Investment Management Company (HIMCO).

By GlobalDataThe project will feature studios to three-bedroom apartments. It will also have options for two-story townhomes, encompassing fourth and 20th floor.
Interactive events will feature in the exterior plaza and rooftop pool area. The project will also have its own Comedy Club, which will also serve as a karaoke venue.
Among the amenities provided will include an integrated coffee shop, indoor dog run and spa. expansive indoor/outdoor fitness facility, simulation room, 10,000ft2 of sharable workspace.
Majority of the firms involved in the delivery of this project are based in Nashville. These include Carter-Haston, Barge Cauthen & Associates, Hodgson Douglas (HDLA), Stanley D. Lindsey & Associates (SDL), I.C. Thomasson Associates, and Waller Lansden.
The project is aiming for LEED Silver certification, and Cyclone Energy of Chicago is handling LEED engineering.

Clark Construction has begun excavation work, which will run through April.
The project will be completed by summer next year.
