Developer Arden Cross has unveiled a £3bn masterplan to create a sustainable new business, leisure and residential destination and economic centre at the 140ha site located at the High Speed 2 (HS2) Interchange Station in the Midlands, UK.

The site is located alongside Birmingham Airport, the NEC, Birmingham Business Park and Jaguar Land Rover.

The project is claimed to be an integral part of the Urban Growth Company’s wider plans for the UK Central Hub.

Expected to create up to 27,000 new jobs, the Arden Cross scheme will deliver up to 3,000 new homes and up to six million ft² of commercial development connected through the new public realm and green spaces.

Linking the HS2 Interchange Station to the nearby NEC, Airport, Resorts World, Birmingham Business Park and Birmingham International Station, Arden Cross will provide direct access to London and the regional centres across the UK.

Arden Cross director Ben Gray said: “The intention for Arden Cross has always been to deliver a world-class development with the HS2 Interchange Station at its heart and by launching our masterplan, we are a step closer to delivering that ambition.
