Construction work on the $50m Mainkofen Center for Gerontopsychiatry located in Deggendorf, Bavaria, Germany commenced in Q4 2022. It was announced in Q1 2020.

The project involves the construction of a geriatric psychiatry (buildings C4 and C5) in Mainkofen, Bavaria, Germany.

The project includes the following:

1. Construction of two closed wards with 24 beds each and two open wards with 26 beds each
2. Construction of detection and treatment of mental disorders
3. Construction of a psychiatry department
4. Construction of general wards
5. Construction of emergency rooms
6. Construction of staff rooms
7. Construction of parking facilities
8. Installation of fire safety and heating systems

Construction on the project is expected to be completed by Q4 2025.
Germany-based Dewan Friedenberger Architekten is the architect and engineering design consultant for the Mainkofen Center for Gerontopsychiatry, while Bezirk Niederbayern is the planning authority.
