The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 3% in September 2022 when compared with August 2022.

IT jobs claimed a 37.34% share in the company’s total hiring activity in September 2022, and recorded a 1.13% decline over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Larsen & Toubro IT hiring in September 2022

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Larsen & Toubro, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 63.89% in September 2022, and a 34.91% drop over August 2022, while Computer and Information Analysts claimed a share of 17.59% in September 2022, and registered growth of 67.65%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 12.35% in September 2022, a 2.56% rise from August 2022.

Asia-Pacific drives IT hiring at Larsen & Toubro

Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global construction IT hiring activity in September 2022 with a 69.75% share, which marked a 34.68% drop over the previous month.

North America stood next with 29.32%, registering a 31.94% month-on-month growth. Europe was the third leading region with a 0.62% share and a 33.33% drop over August 2022.

In the fourth place was Middle East & Africa with a share of 0.31% and a month-on-month flat growth.

India commanded a leading presence in the region’s construction industry IT hiring activity with a 69.75% share in September 2022, a 34.49% decline over August 2022. US featured next with a 27.16% share, up 23.94% over the previous month. Canada recorded a 2.16% share, an increase of 600% compared with August 2022.

Junior Level jobs lead Larsen & Toubro IT hiring activity in September 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 54.01%, down by 29.72% from August 2022. Mid Level positions with a 41.98% share, a decline of 8.72% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 3.7% share, down 47.83% over August 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 0.31%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
