Construction work on the $161m Hospital de Puertollano Development located in Puertollano, Castille-La Mancha, Spain commenced in Q2 2022. It was announced in Q1 2014.

The project involves the construction of the Hospital de Puertollano on a 5ha area in the province of Ciudad Real, Castile-La Mancha, Spain.

The project includes the following:

1. Construction of an underground and above four-story 167-bed hospital building with a total gross floor area of 28,622m2
2. Construction of an administrative building
3. Construction of eight operating rooms
4. Construction of 70 consultation rooms
5. Construction of 18 emergency rooms
6. Construction of two surgical wards
7. Construction of eight intensive care
8. Construction of an underground car parking facility with 353 spaces
9. development of greenery areas on a 3ha area
10. Installation of healthcare equipment
11. Installation of elevators
12. Installation of security and ventilation systems

Construction on the project, spread across 5 hectares, is expected to be completed by Q3 2025.

Owners of the project include Spain-based Servicio de Salud de Castilla-La Mancha.
