The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 1.88% in October 2021 when compared with September 2021.
Out of the consumer industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 2.32% share in October 2021, recording an increase of 0.21% over the last three-month average share.

By GlobalData1) Computer and Information Analysts recorded a share of 45% in October 2021, registering a 100% growth over the previous month.
2) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers claimed a 30% share, a decrease of 33.33% over the previous month.

Top five consumer companies in Brazil’s IT recruitment activity in October 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 43.48% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Brazil’s consumer industry during October 2021 over September 2021.
BRF posted 18 IT jobs in October 2021 and registered a rise of 12.5% over the previous month, followed by JBS with 7 jobs and a 250% growth. Alpargatas with 4 IT jobs and Unilever with 2 jobs, recorded a 300% growth and a flat growth, respectively, while Anheuser-Busch InBev recorded a flat growth with 2 job postings during October 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in October 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 75%, up by 30.43% from September 2021. Entry Level positions with a 15% share, registered a decline of 33.33% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 10% share, up 33.33% over September 2021.
