Bouygues Construction has confirmed its selection by developer Honour Thailand for the design and construction of ONCE Wongamat, a 56-storey luxury residential tower in Pattaya.
The project will be delivered through Bouygues’ local subsidiary, Bouygues-Thai, and will see the 239m high-rise built on Pattaya-Na Kluea Road in North Pattaya.

Once complete, the tower will comprise more than 60,000m² of floor space.
According to Bouygues, ONCE Wongamat will contain 548 apartments finished to high specifications.
Designed by Thai company D103i (Design 103 International), the building will include five retail areas, several swimming pools, a fitness centre, and additional resident facilities.
Leisure facilities will include an arcade, children’s play areas, coworking spaces, a golf simulator, private and open-air cinemas, and sky bars.
The development will be supported by a concierge service, 24-hour security, and covered parking.
Foundation work began in February 2026, carried out by Bouygues-Thai and Siam Tone, and is expected to complete this month.
This stage includes rock coring to prepare the ground for the structure.
Once foundation works complete, construction of the superstructure will begin, with an anticipated timeline of approximately 30 months.
Bouygues Construction has identified several technical and logistical challenges for the project, including the use of low-carbon concrete and the construction of a cantilevered swimming pool that extends beyond the building.
Constructing high-rise buildings in seismic zones also requires specific engineering capabilities.
In addition, the project poses logistical challenges, including work restrictions after 6pm and the need to manage traffic and materials in central Pattaya.
Bouygues Construction reported that digital logistics tools are being used to coordinate deliveries and reduce site congestion to keep the project on schedule.
At peak periods, up to 700 workers are expected on site.
Bouygues Construction deputy CEO Philippe Jouy said: “Bouygues Construction brings its expertise in high-rise projects to ONCE Wongamat, a flagship development in the luxury residential sector.
“With more than 80 high-rise towers delivered worldwide, including Mahanakhon Tower in Bangkok, our teams combine technical excellence with architectural ambition to deliver buildings that leave a lasting mark on their environment.”
