Germany-based Demag Cranes & Components has installed several overhead cranes at Martens Beton’s site to meet specific client needs.

The installation was executed by Van den Berg, Demag’s partner in the Netherlands and Belgium, incorporating the Demag DH hoist unit.

The overhead cranes were customised to match Martens Beton’s company colours, and were easily integrated with the site’s structure, enhancing operational efficiency.

Martens Beton, part of Koninklijke Martens Groep, specialises in designing and supplying concrete elements like pipes, paving stones, and precast components for diverse construction applications.

Demag’s DH hoist units are engineered to operate reliably in harsh environments such as foundries and electroplating plants, where high temperatures and dust levels prevail.

Their robust design ensures durability, making them suitable for Martens Beton’s dusty production halls, where concrete elements are manufactured, said Demag.
