
Turner Construction Company has been chosen to construct a 46-storey commercial office tower at 343 Madison Avenue in Midtown Manhattan, US.
BXP is developing the project with design provided by Kohn Pedersen Fox (KPF).

The project’s plan includes an underground transit entrance connected to Grand Central Terminal, adding to connectivity in one of New York City’s busiest transport hubs.
Its design is intended to reduce impact on light and air in densely developed area.
This 930,000ft² structure will include strategic setbacks for visual engagement and green spaces, which in turn is expected to reinforce connection to the surrounding urban environment.

The project is targeting LEED Platinum certification from the US Green Building Council, which is a widely used green building rating system.
In addition to its role at 343 Madison Avenue, Turner Construction is also leading the TAC joint venture for the transformation of the Memphis International Airport (MEM) in the US.
The $700m Terminal Modernization and Seismic Program involves Turner working alongside Ardmore Roderick and Chris Woods Construction to upgrade infrastructure, improve safety measures, and enhance passenger convenience.
