Björn Rosengren has been appointed head of Atlas Copco’s Construction and Mining Technique (CMT) business area, and also senior executive vice president of Sweden’s Atlas Copco AB. He succeeds Freek Nijdam, who remains in charge of the company’s rental service business area. Rosengren joined Atlas Copco in 1998, as president of the Atlas Copco Craelius division. Before his latest promotion he was president of the company’s Rock Drilling Equipment division, a position that the company is now looking to fill.
