The deadline for submissions of expressions of interest by contractors in the DBO contract for the UK’s Hampshire Rapid Transit Scheme is the 25th of this month. The US$266m, 14km long tram line includes a 1km long immersed tube under Portsmouth Harbour. The contract will be awarded as a 30 year concession to the successful consortium.
