Singapore’s Public Utilities Board will spend nearly US$141M on the construction of the island-state’s US$1.6bn deep tunnel sewerage system this year. The cash is included in the board’s US$296M capital investment programme in 2002 that includes a raft of water, sewerage and drainage projects.
