Parsons Corporation has been selected as the project management consultant for the Dubai Metro Blue Line project, seen as a significant development for Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA).

This five-year contract will see Parsons overseeing various aspects of the project.

The company will be responsible for design review, procurement support, construction supervision, and testing and commissioning processes. Additionally, the company will manage the project handover to RTA.

The Blue Line is a part of Dubai’s D33 Economic Agenda, aiming to make the city one of the world’s most connected cities by 2033.

Stretching 30km and incorporating 14 stations, the line will link strategic locations such as Mirdif, Dubai Creek Harbour, and Dubai Festival City, in turn supporting the city’s 2040 Urban Master Plan.

Upon completion, the Dubai Metro Blue Line is expected to serve up to 320,000 passengers daily, significantly enhancing the city’s public transport network and contributing to its sustainable urban mobility goals. Operations are set to begin in 2029.
