Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP) intends to develop office space and leisure facilities in the Airport Corporate Centre (ACC) business park in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, with an investment of $300m.

The company has acquired 33 acres from Cannonfield to develop the project.

HOOPP plans to build up to 1.1 million square feet of offices and more than 70,000ft2 of restaurant/service amenities, and the development is expected to get LEED Gold certification.

HOOPP is developing the master site plan in conjunction with the City of Mississauga.

The master plan incorporates the development of seven office buildings ranging from 125,000ft2 to 250,000ft2.

Construction work on the first office building, with an area of 125,000ft2, is expected to be completed by the third quarter of 2012.
