The project involves the expansion of the 31.38km I-35 NEX south from I-410 South to FM 1103 in Bexar, Comal and Guadalupe Counties on 14.52ha of land in San Antonio, Texas, the US.

The project includes the following:



1. Construction of three elevated lanes, including two main lanes and one high-occupancy vehicle lane in each direction
2. Construction of elevated lanes access points
3. Construction of emergency service turnarounds
4. Construction of railroad tracks
5. construction of two non-toll 15-mile long bridges between the I-35 main lanes and frontage roads from I-410 South to FM 3009
6. Construction of at-grade widening of the main lanes to add two general-purpose lanes
7. Renovation of ramps and frontage roads
8. Installation of drainage, utilities, signs, and other highway improvements
