Select Group has awarded a Dh655m ($178.33m) contract to Engineering Contracting Company (ECC) for the construction of The EDGE, a dual tower development in Business Bay, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

The sold-out project, designed by Killa Design, will be located at the intersection of Downtown Dubai and Business Bay. 

ECC chair Hatem Farah said: “We are thrilled to have been selected as the construction partner for Select Group's project, The EDGE.  

“Partnering with Select Group on this pioneering property development is a clear affirmation of our dedication to delivering excellence in construction. We aim to ensure that each project reflects our values and skills and contributes to advancing a more sustainable world.” 

The development will span 1.423 million square feet and offer a total of 1,030 units across two towers, namely Tower A and Tower B. 

Amenities at the community will include a coworking space, games room, social lounge, pool deck, courtyard, and more. 

Primary construction works commenced last year, following the completion of the enabling phase by Pinnacle International Piling Foundation. 

Completion of The EDGE project is expected in the fourth quarter (Q4) of 2026.
