The construction company will be responsible for the design, planning and construction, as well as maintenance and cleaning and the maintenance of outdoor areas of the project for 20 years.

Vihti Mayor Erkki Eerola said: “The school and daycare centre complex is a significant investment for the municipality. We believe it will offer Vihti’s children an excellent Finnish and Swedish-language learning environment. The complex is also an investment in future development and the growth of Vihti.”

YIT stated that the new complex will be constructed in the growing area of south Nummela and will be in close proximity to the future Vihti-Nummela railway station.
