XCMG Machinery, a construction machinery manufacturing company, has established a strategic partnership with Sarens Group, a crane rental services and heavy lifting company, to enhance heavy lifting operations.

The collaboration has resulted in the delivery of the first batch of XCMG’s XCA250G7-1E all-terrain cranes, designed specifically for the European market.

The XCA250G7-1E is a five-axle 250-tonne (t) crane, which Sarens plans to incorporate into its fleet, bolstering its capacity to undertake intricate lifting projects.

The XCA250G7-1E comes equipped with several intelligent features, states XCMG. Its variable support technology allows for adjustable outrigger lengths to suit the construction site’s conditions, addressing challenges posed by limited space or complex terrain.

The crane’s automatic counterweight hook-up system is claimed to facilitate one-button automatic hooking by detecting the slewing angle and counterweight position, thereby streamlining operations while enhancing safety.

Furthermore, the crane’s load telescoping capability permits safe boom extension with loads up to 40% of its rated capacity. This feature expands the working range and improves efficiency by 30%-50%, all while maintaining lifting safety, stated XCMG.
