Packaged Living, a UK-based build-to-rent developer and operator, has selected Winvic Construction to deliver £47.3m Aubrey Place project in Central Milton Keynes, UK.

Supported by funders Invesco Real Estate, the project comprises 294 build-to-rent one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments with a range of floor layouts to accommodate various lifestyle choices.

The project will include two interlinked towers of 17 storeys above ground, connected by an 11-storey link.

The construction firm is undertaking a significant amount of earthworks on site to facility an undercroft car park as well as cycle stores which is expected to accommodate 47 vehicles and 294 bikes.

Aubrey Place will include a 2,500m² single commercial unit and 17,324m² of internal and external amenity space ranging from ground floor reception and lounge, to roof terraces, parcel storage and two compact landscaped courtyards. Residents will also have access to a communal area on floor 11, with a rooftop garden.

The project is located near the national motorway system and only 10 minute walk from Milton Keynes Central rail station, which provides direct access to both London and Birmingham.

The firm said that the low carbon facility eliminates the need for the alternative renewable technologies including solar panels and boilers in the apartments.

Work on the project commenced in January 2020 and will be completed in April 2022.

Packaged Living managing director Mark Woodrow said: “Their design team and our architects, Maber, have been working hard on the scheme; comprising of a mix of one, two and three bedroom apartments – with a range of floor layouts to accommodate various lifestyle choices – we believe the scheme will become Milton Keynes’ premier live, work and play destination and we’re looking forward to delivering a service beyond what is currently available in the market.”
