Construction firm Willmott Dixon has won a £17m ($15.3m) contract from Wakefield Council in the UK to build an additional leisure centre in Pontefract.
The deal comes just after the company completed the construction of Minsthorpe Leisure Center in Wakefield.

Known as the Five Towns Leisure and Wellbeing Hub, the project will feature a ten-lane swimming pool, a splash pad area and a studio pool with a movable floor.
It will also house a gym and exercise studios, spin studio, café and meeting rooms for community purposes.
The outdoor area of the club will have four tennis courts, garden, play area and car parking.
The proposed centre is said to be the largest hub in the district.

By GlobalDataWakefield Council Cabinet Member Chancellor Jacquie Speight said: “The benefits (of this project) are enormous and will have a lasting impact and a role in tackling health issues such as childhood obesity, long-term respiratory and circulatory diseases and mental health conditions.”
Construction works will begin next August. The project was procured by Major Works England and Northern Ireland, which is a part of Scape National Construction framework.
The firm will be working with GT+3 Architect while the project manager is the ARCADIS Design & Consultancy with Waterman Group acting as the structural engineers.
Willmott Dixon has previously improved facilities such as the Littlehampton Wave Leisure Centre, Sapphire Ice Rink, University of Warwick’s Sports Hub and Stone Leisure Centre.
The construction company also recently won a contract to remodel the existing swimming pool in Rothamsted Park in Harpenden into a leisure centre.
The centre will also feature a 17m-long learner pool, a gym and a sports hall.
