Raleigh-based real estate development company Wigeon Capital has announced construction commencement for a flex and warehouse project at Greenfield Business Park, in the town of Garner, North Carolina, the US.

Located near the heavy-traffic intersection of Interstate 40 and US Highway 70, construction of the 58,000ft2 industrial building is underway at 3300 Waterfield Drive, Garner.

Wigeon’s new industrial building is its third flex building under construction by the real estate investing and development company co-founded by Whit Brown and Al Goodrich.

Additional properties of Wigeon include those at Brier Creek and Sigma Drive in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Wigeon Capital said: “Garner is growing; with the confluence of the road system and the proximity to downtown Raleigh we see the potential for this trend to continue. That is why we are investing in Garner, NC.”

The beginning of this year’s second quarter will see Wigeon planning to break ground on a 96,000ft2 shallow bay industrial that has a tilt wall construction along with a 32-ft height.
