VINCI Construction UK has been selected to deliver the Hines’ new build project on Oxford Street in the UK.

The 354 Oxford Street project comprises a total of 11 residential apartments, consisting of three 1-bed apartments and six 2-bed apartments on second to fourth floors.

Additionally, the fifth floor of the project will comprise three 1-bed apartments and six 2-bed apartments with a further two 2-bed apartments.

Under the contract, VINCI will be responsible for providing a new façade, retail space at the ground floor, in addition to high specification fit-out for 11 No. apartments to the upper floors.

The façade treatments for the new apartment will comprise handmade brickwork, brass-framed shopfronts, anodised windows with brass facing shutters and brass cladding.

London Underground constructed the building structure as part of the New Bond Street Underground station project. The mixed-use property is claimed to be a prime asset for Hines.

Construction on the site has already commenced at the end of October 2019 upon securing preconstruction approval from Westminster CC & TFL. Construction is scheduled to complete in 51 weeks.

VINCI Construction UK will be responsible for the completion of the retail space.

In September 2019, VINCI Construction UK was selected by Hull City Council to deliver the £130m Albion Square retail-led regeneration scheme in the UK.

VINCI Construction will be responsible for the design and construction of the development, which will feature retail, housing, leisure and enhanced parking facilities.

Jennings will serve as a demolition contractor and will be supported by the Ashcourt Group to undertake the removal and recycling of demolition waste.

The scheme will transform a 1.7ha, which encompasses the former BHS and Co-op building, and the Albion Street car park.

Last year, VINCI Construction UK was also selected as the preferred bidder by Cheshire West and Council for the Chester Northgate development in the UK.
