Once completely developed, both the campuses will provide a total of 111MW of IT capacity to customers.

Vantage Data Centers president for EMEA Antoine Boniface said: “Vantage continues to develop state-of-the-art data centre campuses in the most vital locations across EMEA to support some of the world’s leading technology companies.

“The speed and scale of our deliveries is unprecedented in our company’s history, as is our commitment to sustainable development. It’s truly a remarkable time in the data center industry to be on the frontlines of the digital infrastructure revolution.”

Frankfurt II represents the company’s ninth campus in EMEA, six of which are currently operational. The six campuses are Berlin I, Cardiff, Frankfurt I, Johannesburg, Warsaw and Zurich.

Meanwhile, the company has completed construction of its first data center at its Johannesburg campus in South Africa.

This is the company’s first data center (JNB11) in Africa.

It was broken ground last year. The construction project was completed in ten months.

The two-story facility provides 16MW of IT capacity across 130,000ft2.

With an investment of over $1bn, Vantage’s 30-acre campus will include 80MW of IT capacity and over 650,000ft2 across three data centres once completely developed.

Situated in Waterfall City, the campus complements the area’s thriving data centre ecosystem.
