Construction firm United Living New Homes has received a contract from US-based investment adviser Angelo Gordon and UK real estate investor Ridgeback to deliver £55m build to rent scheme in the UK.

United Living New Homes will be responsible for delivering the scheme at Dumballs Road development in Cardiff, Wales.

The project will involve construction of 432 one and two-bedroom residential apartments across two blocks.

Planned to be delivered in two phases, the development will feature indoor and outdoor amenity space, a public square, commercial space to the ground floor and extensive landscaping.

The scheme will also include vital low carbon infrastructure including electric vehicle charging points and solar panels. This is expected to help Cardiff Council achieve its aim to become carbon-neutral city by 2030.

Located in the heart of the Dumballs Road regeneration zone, the new homes will form part of a mixed-use scheme planned on a vacant site in a brownfield location.
