“We hope that the new JV will connect SUEZ’s environmental success stories around the world to not only enable safe and environmentally-friendly disposal of hazardous waste, but also to ensure environmental wellbeing and human health and a greener and more livable planet.”

In addition to ensuring effective treatment of industrial waste, the project is expected to protect the environment and boost the economy.

Construction on the project is scheduled to commence start in the second half of 2020.

The facility, which will comply with the EU emission standards, will comprise an energy recovery system designed to recover and produce 85,000 tonnes of steam per year. The resulting steam will be supplied to the industrial customers in the area.
