Construction of the hospital is scheduled to begin in August this year and it will be ready by the end of 2025.

Skanska specialises in providing construction and civil infrastructure services along with developing commercial properties in several markets.

Earlier this month, Skanska secured a contract from Orlando Health to build Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute in Orlando, Florida, US.

This contract, valued at around $64m, has been recorded in the US order bookings for the Q4 2020.

Construction of the new 371,000ft2 institute will began in November 2020, and completion is slated for Q2 2023.

The project will include an eight-story hospital that will feature 75 inpatient rooms and ten operating rooms (ORs); and an adjoining six-story medical office building with two floors of ambulatory suites.

Both the inpatient and outpatient facility will be intended for orthopedic patients.
