Skanska has signed a contract with the Defence Infrastructure Organisation to redevelop a British Army vehicle storage and maintenance facility located in the West of England, UK.
The contract, worth $326.65m (£259m), will be reported by the company in its order bookings for Europe for the second quarter of this year.

Work for this project will commence in the third quarter of 2022, with an aim to complete it before the end of 2026.
Skanska will undertake construction as well as mechanical and electrical engineering services for the new storage buildings, workshops and an office.
This project involves demolishing 58 buildings, constructing 12 new buildings, and renovating one present facility.

Following the successful delivery of the Worthy Down tri-forces training facility in Hampshire last year, this project is building Skanska’s long-term partnership with the Defence Infrastructure Organisation.
Earlier this month, Skanska signed a contract with Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University to construct a new undergraduate science laboratory building located in Blacksburg, Virginia, US.
The contract, worth about $70m (SEK650m), will be included by the company in the US order bookings for the second quarter of this year.
