Swedish construction company Skanska to build a residential project in Gothenburg with an investment of $37.8m (SEK340m).
The project called Galleriet will be located Nya Hovås.
Overall, the company will construct a total of 116 Nordic Swan eco-labelled apartments, comprising tenant-owned apartments and condominiums.
In a statement, Skanska said: “Galleriet will be certified according to the Nordic Swan ecolabel, which means high demands on quality, environmental, energy and health aspects.
“The homes have lower energy use than the building requirements as well as higher requirements for chemicals and ventilation. All in all, this means a better indoor environment and a lower climate impact. The buildings will also be equipped with solar cells on the roofs.”
For Skanska, the project will be the fourth development in the region.
