Skanska has secured a contract from The Hospital District of Southwest Finland to construct a hospital building in Turku, Finland.
The €41m (SEK430m) contract will be included by the company in the Nordic order bookings for the third quarter of this year.
The building will comprise six stories and an underground floor, with total gross area of 22,023 m2.
This project will be an addition to the Turku University Hospital Main Hospital area, and used as a unit for psychiatric care.
Construction is set to commence in August, with its completion slated for Q3 2024.
Earlier this month, the company had signed a contract to build a tram and bus depot in Helsinki, Finland.

By GlobalDataIt had signed the contract with Ruskeasuon Varikkokiinteistö Oy, a subsidiary of City Transport Ltd.
Worth €101m, the contract is recorded by the company in the Nordic order bookings for the second quarter of this year.
Designed for 100 trams, the depot has space for their daily maintenance, cleaning and repair work.
It will feature parking area for 200 buses. Furthermore, the maintenance building for buses will be located on the roof of the depot.
Besides an office space, the depot will have a room allotted for drivers and personnel to take rest.
The construction of this project began in Q4 2021 with the development phase.
The project is slated to complete in Q1 2024.
